We are seeking a confident, motivated, and experienced Human Resources Administration Coordinator.
You will play a vital role in supporting and coordinating the HR Administration within Council’s Human Services & WHS team. You will be supported by an inclusive and supportive management team.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the HR Advisor to effectively manage the following related functions:
- Contracts and negotiations;
- Employee and Industrial Relations;
- Learning and Development protocols
- Wage Subsidy Administration
- WHS/ Risk Management Administration
• Support the HR advisor in coordination of administration and documentation of industrial relations, Local Government award conditions and other employment matters.
• Support the HR advisor in documentation of investigation and resolution of matters relating to grievances, bullying and harassment, and poor performance.
• Provide administration support to develop HR policies and procedures, including review of current policies and procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement within the People, Culture, Safety and Wellbeing programs.
• Monitor, coordinate and prepare HR reports covering, recruitment and retention, leave, surveys.
Selection Criteria:
• Tertiary Qualifications or equivalent in Human Resources or considerable experience.
• Proficient ability to use various computer software programs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to provide advice in a timely and efficient manner.
