The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy (DNRME) is hosting a free Online Resource Community Information Session for the Wide Bay and Burnett areas.
Find out more about resource activities in your region at our free Online Resource Community Info Session where expert speakers will provide an update on Mineral activity in the region and talk on land access and dispute resolution relating to exploration and mining. You will also learn about:
• Your rights and obligations when it comes to land access
• Where to go for help negotiating a fair arrangement
• How you can resolve disputes without unnecessary cost or stress
• Environmental regulation
• The laws that govern exploration and mining activities in Queensland
Presentations will be delivered by DNRME, the Department of Environment and Science, Land Access Ombudsman Queensland and Land Court. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.
