Job Vacancy Street Sweeper Bulk Rubbish Collection Operator
We are seeking a Street Sweeper/ Bulk Rubbish Collection Machine Operator, (Male or Female). Casual with potential for full time for the right candidate. Working as part of the Operations team, reporting to the Roads and Civil Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating street sweeper or other civil machinery
- Complete daily pre-start checks and traffic management plans
- Undertaking inspections to the public road’s and council assets
- Implementing work practices in line with WHS, waste and bulk rubbish industry
Qualifications:
- Hold a current Driver’s License
- Possession of a White Card – or willing to obtain
Highly Desirable
- Medium Rigid Driving Licence
- Hold a current (TCR, IMP) traffic controller- or willingness to obtain
- Chemical application Chem Use AQF3- or willingness to obtain
- Power line Awareness- or willingness to obtain
- Asbestos Awareness- or willingness to obtain
