First Nations Recycling and Waste Management Traineeship

We are seeking a committed, motivated, and driven individual seeking to start a career journey in the Recycling and Waste management sector.

This role will learn to oversee the production and processing undertaken at the Recycling Centre and Containers for Change Cherbourg.

You won’t be working alone in this role, you will be surrounded by supportive leadership team and mentors to support and guide you on your journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake guided study in a Certificate III Business or Recycling and Waste Management
  • Maintaining the production of the recycling facility
  • Ensure WHS policies and procedures are met and maintained
  • Provide production administration support to the Recycling Facility Manager when necessary
