The Burnett Mary Regional Group (BMRG) are currently seeking a committed, passionate and highly motivated individual to join the award winning Bunya Mountains Murri Ranger Team.
The role will care for Country in the Bunya Mountains by conserving natural and cultural resources. The role will undertake natural area development, maintenance and protection duties, general wildlife management, cultural site management and Traditional Owner engagement across Queensland government protected areas and natural areas managed by the Western Downs and South Burnett Regional Councils.
This is a declared Indigenous Identified role. Only Aboriginal applicants are able to apply (section 25 of the Anti-discrimination Act 1991 Queensland). Additionally, the successful candidate must have a ‘working with children’ Blue Card or have a positive notice before closing date (please attach with application).
