CASC is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate for the role of Sport and Recreation (S&R) Officers – 1 Full Time and 1 Part time (Community Services 3 year Contract ).
Do you want to contribute and engage with females in the community of Cherbourg while leading and promoting healthy lifestyles. You will also coordinate and run the physical activities group sessions in the Jundah Gym, exercise groups (walking hiking, running etc) and cooking classes under the directions of “Play Our Way Program” across these activities and other S&R services.
Are you organised, confident and looking for an exciting challenge where you can use your skills as a Coach/PT or coordinate the activities. No two days are the same and opportunity to network with a range of stakeholders while collaborating and building long term partnership with other health and primary health services is part of the role.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the Jundah Women’s Gym and
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and community stakeholders and oversee the running of Healthy Lifestyle Activities
- Coordinate, Deliver and run the Play Your Own Way program and other physical and cooking classes.
- Guide, Educate, and support Health Promotion activities
- Ensure WHS and Compliance is adhered to
