Christmas is fast approaching and Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council would like to remind all staff of the entitled days off over the Christmas/New Year Period
Staff are NOT required to work on:
- Christmas Day (25/12/2019)
- Boxing Day (26/12/2019)
- New Years Day (01/01/2020)
However any other than that is not a public holiday and falls on your working week as per a normal required day of work.
Employees are entitled to apply for vacation over the Christmas and New Years Period however are required to submit a Leave Application Form to their manager, no later that two weeks prior to the time off. This does not guarantee time off and is up to the discretion of your manager.
