The Queensland State General Election will be held on Saturday, 26 October 2024.
Returning Officers are in the process of employing temporary election staff to work on Election Day in our Community.
The Electoral Commission Queensland require a minimum of 4 positions to be filled but have up to 12 positions available in some Communities.

Cherbourg Council have been advised that currently ECQ only have a couple of Expressions of Interest to fill 70+ positions in our First Nations Communities, so we are now encouraging members of our community to apply.
