COVID-19 UPDATE – 12pm – March 22nd 2020
A joint meeting, was held today (on short notice) by the Cherbourg and South Burnett Local Disaster Management Group in Cherbourg – key members were in attendance to discuss restricted travel into remote Indigenous communities.
The next full meeting of the Cherbourg Local Disaster Management Group has now been moved forward to tomorrow (Monday 23rd March) scheduled to commence at 10am.
The community should be prepared for a statement and update on the latest measures being taken in our and surrounding communities to restrict the spread of the COVID-19 virus – this statement to be made by the head of the LDMG.
Cherbourg LDMG are currently at STAND UP status.
