A “So you want to be a Councillor Session” is to be held in Cherbourg, scheduled for Tuesday, 28 January 2020 from 10.00am.
All candidates wishing to stand for election are required to complete the training, either online or at this face to face session.
The face to face session being held in Cherbourg should take between 2 to 2½ hours and is open to all members of community to attend. It is proposed the session be held at the Ration Shed meeting room (The Domo Building) Cherbourg.
Candidates who confirm their intention to stand at the 2020 Local Government Elections prior to the training will need to register with the Electoral Commission of Qld’s Electronic Disclosure System (EDS) and create the nominated bank account at the same time.
