POSITION VACANT – Human Resources (HR) Administration Trainee

Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council is currently seeking applications from suitable applicants for the positions of HR Trainee Administration to undertake a relevant qualification in Business/Human Resources.

This is a development opportunity for a candidate who wants to develop skills in organisational and administrative functions.

As the HR Administration Trainee Officer in Council’s Human Services team, you will be supported by an inclusive and supportive management team that will mentor and guide you on your career journey.

These vacancies are to support our council office for 12 months and will assist in duties such as HR administration, customer enquiries, filing, archiving, and other general HR administration tasks.

These are entry level positions, and the successful applicants will ideally be keen, motivated and be passionate about administration and customer service. Candidates must be confident in their literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.

Hours will be between 8am to 5pm Monday – Thursday and 8am to 12pm Fridays or by negotiation with the suitable applicant.

Preference will be given to local Cherbourg community members.
